Fees & Adjustments
Right now your earnings statement stays simple: we deduct the platform commission (plus VAT on that commission) and the rest is yours. Here’s what exists today and what’s coming soon.
What We Deduct Today
- Platform commission: The percentage explained on the previous page (for eg. 8%) is taken from every completed order.
- VAT on the commission: 7.5% applied only to our platform fee, never to your product price.
There are currently no additional processing, storage, or payment gateway fees taken from your payout.
What’s Coming Soon
- Evarpex Fulfilment: Optional warehousing and pick-pack service. Pricing will be published when the first hub goes live.
- Sponsored listings: Marketplace ads that you can switch on and pay for with wallet credits.
- Packaging & supplies: Access to Evarpex-branded materials at bulk rates once our logistics shop launches.
These services are opt-in. You will see detailed rate cards in the dashboard before you subscribe.
Penalties & Compliance
We currently focus on warnings and order pauses instead of automatic deductions. Monetary penalties apply only in serious cases, such as:
- Counterfeit products: ₦50,000 compliance penalty if a listing is confirmed counterfeit (see Brand Protection policy).
Late dispatches or QC failures trigger corrective actions (like cancelling the order or suspending drop-offs) rather than immediate fees.
Keeping Track of Your Earnings
- Download statements from your Seller Dashboard—commission and VAT lines are clearly labelled.
- Filter by order or date to reconcile payouts with your bank deposits.
- Raise a ticket within 14 days if something doesn’t look right; we’ll investigate and correct it.
