Restricted Products
Selling on Evarpex means obeying Nigerian law, regional compliance requirements, and our own marketplace safeguards. Before you publish a listing, confirm it is authorised, safe, and suitable for trade on our platform.
General Rules for Listing Products
Evarpex prohibits the sale of illegal, unsafe, or otherwise restricted goods. Every seller must:
- Verify that their products comply with all applicable laws and regulatory guidelines (SON, NAFDAC, NCC, etc.).
- Keep watch on regulatory updates. Laws change frequently—update your catalogue accordingly.
- Respond promptly to compliance requests. Failure to cooperate can lead to account suspension.
We actively collaborate with regulators, brands, and customers to identify unauthorised items. Listings may be removed without notice if they pose a risk to buyers or the Evarpex brand.
Products That Require Pre-Approval
Certain categories demand additional documentation before you can list them. Submit a Compliance Ticket if you need access to these categories.

- Electronics & IoT Devices: NCC approval may be required for devices with radios or SIM slots.
- Food & Beverage: Include ingredient lists, expiry dates, and storage instructions.
- Children’s & Baby Products: Mandatory safety labels, age guidance, and quality certifications.
- High-value Fashion & Luxury: Proof of authenticity or authorised distribution agreements.
